VeryDarkMan Doesn’t Deserve Your Apology, I’m Disappointed in You King Mitchy – Ovie Success
Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, has publicly criticised social media personality King Mitchy over her apology to online commentator VeryDarkMan.
In a statement shared on his Facebook account on Friday, March 13, 2026, Ossai expressed disappointment over Mitchy’s decision to apologise, arguing that the gesture was unnecessary.
“Very Dark Man does not deserve your apology. I am disappointed in you, King Mitchy,” he wrote.
Ossai stated that he had previously supported Mitchy and expected a different response from her regarding the controversy involving VeryDarkMan.
“As someone who fought for you and stood by you, I am here to express my disappointment to you over your apology to VeryDarkMan. I expected more from you,” he said.
He further criticised the apology, claiming it was unwarranted given past exchanges between the parties.
“Your apology to Very Dark Man is uncalled for. Very Dark Man insulted your benefactor and here you are apologising,” he added.
Ossai also accused the online activist of harbouring negative intentions toward Mitchy, stating, “He’s a bitter soul who wished you failure, but you overcame.”
The media aide argued that the apology should instead have been directed toward supporters who had celebrated Mitchy’s achievements.
“Instead of thanking those of us who supported you, you’re apologising to someone who sees everyone as a competitor,” he said.
He also questioned Mitchy’s connection to Delta State, saying, “I heard you are a Delta girl, which I am doubting because our girls don’t behave this way.”
Ossai concluded by suggesting that emotions may have influenced Mitchy’s actions during the public dispute.
“You’re too emotional, and that’s why Very Dark Man was able to manipulate the public against you. Nigerians who celebrated your success deserve your apology more than Very Dark Man does. I’m highly disappointed,” he wrote.National News…
