He stated that there are certain matters he has kept private for years in order to protect his children, but he decided to reveal them publicly for the first time.

According to a report published by VANGUARD on Saturday, March 14, 2026, Pastor Okafor stated that one of the most difficult challenges he faced was discovering through DNA tests that two out of four children he thought were his biological children were not actually his. He explained that he carried this burden silently for many years, choosing not to expose the matter in order to shield the children from public shame.

He stated that these revelations brought him deep pain, but he endured them quietly while continuing his ministry. He further stated that allegations suggesting he could ever molest his daughter were baseless and senseless. He emphasized that if such a thing had ever happened, God Himself should destroy him and everything connected to him.

Pastor Okafor explained that his decision to speak out was not to stir controversy but to clear his name and highlight the sacrifices he has made to protect his family despite the personal hurt he has endured.
